Kerygma Productions is an organization that helps local songwriters and musicians develop their craft and allows others to hear what they have produced by way of CD and the INTERNET. Music is chosen each year to be represented on the CD: “Sound Bytes From St. Cloud.”
Music is reviewed annually by Kerygma Productions.
Music is graded on music structure, melody, and lyrics. Music may be submitted at any time. All money raised from the sales of CD’s is used for the production of the next year’s CD. At present all songs have been written and performed by local writers and musicians. If your music is selected to be released on our CD you will be notified. Your music will be graded even if it is not selected to be released on our CD.
Currently there is no cost to you for this service. You only need to submit your music. Your music will not be used for any other projects or profit making ventures. We will suggest other venues if we believe your music is promotable.
Who is behind the scenes at Kerygma Productions?
Dean Weber is the current president of the organization.
Past qualifications:
- Prior music agent for SEH management for three years (local agency out of Mpls./St. Paul MN)
- Past Vice President and Treasurer of Jazz Dot Combo; created by young adults to further develop musical abilities in the musical styles of jazz and big band music.
- Dean has been writing and producing music for twelve years.
- Billboard Achievement Award winner .
Lisa Weber: songwriter and musician, a multiple Billboard Achievement Award winner has been writing music for the past twenty-five years. She has been a Taxi member for the last five years; an organization by which your music can be heard by A&R persons. Lisa’s music has had forwards to Virgin Records and It's A Good Thing Music . Lisa also has a four year degree in music education from the University of MN.
